Stick Man Film Storyboards - Lost In the Snow Sequence

Finally getting around to uploading some of the work I did on the 2015 BBC Christmas Special 'Stick Man', an animated short film produced by Magic Light Films and animated by Triggerfish Animation Studios as an adaptation of Julia Donaldson's children's book of the same name. I contributed to both the storyboarding and character animation of the film.

This is a version of the sequence where we see Stick Man at his lowest point in the film, where he is physically and emotionally at his most weary. After trudging through the snow for a long while, he stumbles around until his body eventually gives in, and he collapses; sliding down a slope and bumping into a bunny in the process.

As is typical in storyboarding, many aspects of the scene were reworked and cut, with new bits added, but by and large this version is fairly close to what finally ended up on screen :)
